just hang on untill 2011 if there are even more wars and famine and more global warming and less food more hurricanes than we will know human kind is doomed if not that yay I get to live.

The Mayan Calendar didn't even say the world would end. It said that the transitional period between the 5th and the 6th age of the world will end, and we will begin the 6th age of the world in which we will face great changes that entail technological and sociological progress.
I like hearing people who don't know what they are talking about. The Mayen Calendar is not refuring to doomsday. It i believe is simply telling us that the calendar will be reset, and a new "age" will begin. Simply put, the mayen calendar only went up so far, as they may have had some problems with there numbers, lol. The world will be here as long as God allows it to be, but then one day he will destroy us all :)
