I don't remember exactly what happens. Some guy gets a call from Russia saying they are going to nuke his city. So he goes out and tells a bunch of people and head off in a van to the airport. But he changes his mind and decides to get his girlfriend instead along with a helicopter pilot. And in the end (hint hint spoilers) they are off in a helicopter, but you see the nuke go off in the background sending the helicopter spiraling down into water and it ends with them waiting for their death.

EDIT: And I thought this movie would be highly reviewed, and it aparrently is.
