Can anyone tell me why people don't like me?

I'm about 15 years old, 6 feet tall, light brown hair, pretty good looking in my opinion and nothing but nice to everyone.

I have no problem picking up girls that I have never met, but the people that I see at highschool everyday dislike me. I've been in my school district longer than anyone else as I've been going here 10 years.

Can anyone give me some reasons why people don't like me and some advice for people to like me.

maybe you are arrogant or sarcastic...

could be a number of reasons...

I'm sarcastic, but then again who isn't? It's weird...I can say a witty comment and people will look at me like I'm an idiot, but then someone else that is popular says the same thing and people bust out laughing...

It's like they don't take me seriously. I'm a sophomore on varsity basketball at a major basketball school so I SHOULD have the popularity factor but I don't.

So anyone have any tips on how to act or something??

you whine too much and fish for complements. You are too concered what others think of you. You also have a nasty habbit of asking strangers what they think of you.

you sound like the starting QB who went to my high school. He didn't have a lot of friends, but all the girls liked him. Are you arrogant and/or rich? The QB was both, and just came off as a douche, hence nobody liked him except some of his teammates.

I never really brag, I'm just telling you about myself so I could get some fresh advice.

And everyone on the basketball team is popular it seems. Except me that is =P

I really don't care about popularity but I don't like to be the one guy in a group of 6 that doesn't get acknowledged by a girl when she walks by.

All the guys like me but none of the girls =S

And I am not the least bit arrogant and I do have a bit of money but I don't see how that would tie into girls not liking me. I thought the girls were the ones who were supposed to love money...

I dunno...It makes no sense that people with no personality and complete jackasses are more liked than some people who are nothing but nice.

I guess girls like guys who treat them like sh**. I just don;t have that in me to do that though =P

And the weird thing is I act the same constantly but when I see people from another school they seem to like me just fine. It seems just to be the people at my school...

Considering the pathetic state its currently in, I wouldn't doubt it. Ben Stiller would be the coach, the superstar on the team disagrees w/ him, the coach threatens to leave, the superstar changes his ways for the better of the team, badda bing you got a 90 minute movie that will make a ridiculous profit (100 million?) It'd be an incredibly dumb comedy movie, but people will spend their hard earned money on it.

It's disgusting how true that is. I almost wish I'd never made that point. Never know where hollywood producers lurk for ideas. :?

are you a dick? ik honestly everyone i speak to on a regular bsis likes me and I'm prettypopular but among the middle kids not the air headed whorish popular jerks, and I'm prud of it. I make new firends everyday and i dont want to stop until i know everyone!

God its the same for me! My best friend his probably one of the most popular guy in the school, and when I say something sometimes people dont seem to care, thats why I shut up, but then he says similar stuff and everybody his laughing their asses off and all.
