Hell by most descriptions, is endless torture. Unless you can find a country where you are tortured for eternity, then there is nothing worse then hell.Bigg_BoiI can't top that answer, but obviously nobody can answer that question.

Then if I'm a masochist, I go to Heaven automaticly, since it would be my hell, right?
Sure some people live wonderful lives but others mainly those in third world countries have terrible life styles. Like some of the people who live in Africa and India. Can Hell really be that much worse then living in a third world country or if you are living life now and it is not good or even enjoyable experience.-Renegade
You're going to have to do better than this if you're trying for a 2000+ post topic tonight.
yeah hell can be much much worse, like, this is what i think hell can be like.
You are in an iron maiden that is over 1000 degrees whilst demons are outside chanting and haunting you and possibly taking you out every now and then for different things like, whipping and hanging you over and over again screaming in torment forever and youre mind is filled with visions of only regret of the terrible things youve done in youre life and how you could have avoided this. Atleast, thats what my sort of twisted mind thinks it would be like

No. The idea of Hell being a place of torture and fire and brimstone was invented during the Great Awakening. Preachers found that it was a lot easier to scare people into being good, devout Christians when Hell was described as a place where demons torture you while you burn as opposed to the original description of hell. See, hell is a plane of existence completely seperated from God (which is somewhat contradictory considering that god is supposed to be omnipresent, but whatever). Since God is considered in Christianity to be the source of energy and life and all other things good Hell is pretty much devoid of all those things. So hell is a place of unending depression/mental/spirtual suffering since you're completely cut off from God, essentially the exact opposite of heaven where you're in a state of perpetual euphoria on account of being so close to God. Also, since hell is cut off from God's energy it would also be very, very cold not on fire. This is why if you read The Divine Comedy hell is described as being frozen over the closer Dante gets to Satan.
And while we're on the subject, demons and Satan would also not resemble what is commonly portrayed in modern Christianity. Since they were all originally angels they would be extremely beautiful. And Satan would not have a pointed tail, trident, horns, and hoofed feet (all of those features were invented at various times in the past few hundred years) but would rather match the description of an archangel.
Even though I'm an atheist I have to admit that Christian mythology is very interesting when you get deep into it. It actually makes a lot more sense when you learn what original dogma was rather than all the new crap that's been made up over the years and slowly integrated into the religion.

I don't see hell as such a bad thing, its only without a God.123625So its essentially just what were doing right now.

I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt and believe he was trying to make a motivational caption. That would be a good motivational.
