CAN SOMEONE EXPLAIN THIS TO me?

I'm sure ill get modded by the Nazi's for this post but, why are the mods at gamespot so strict? ive never seen mods ruin any website like they ruin this one, i mean SERIOUSLY, i got suspened for having a contest thread, i mean REALLY? a contest is considered spam/advertising in an offtopic forum? the prize was an weapon code for cod4 i wasnt advertising anything. this is exactly the reason i rarely and many others post here- ridicious modding, i will never subscribe for this very reason im afraid im going to get banned , AND THIS IS WHILE IM TRYING MY BEST NOT TO OFFEND ANYONE, yet they always find some pointless reason to mod me, KARMA'S gonna be a **** for all these a-hole mods.

o btw ive been using this site for years and it just gets worse and worse, soon they will be branding us with numbers and bar codes

I got moderated once because I told everyone that the record breaking sales of World of Warcraft expansions was "kinda sad." In fairness to so many great games. I was sent about a dozen freakishly hateful and insulting messages for my opinion. So nobody can make the argument that mods are completely fair 100% of the time. But I'm still here, and nobody really cares about it 5 minutes later.bugtrip

Weird... Never had any major problems with them. I got perma banned once and they took care of everything and unbanned me after I explained myself and apologized. I just follow the rules I guess.Sajedene
