Can someone get my phone number from my domain?

i created a website and some people with a similar website managed to get my number and there prank calling me.

and i told them i would just change the number but then they toldme "but you cant change the addy"

How did you register it? It's been a while since I registered one but I think the info you use to register it becomes public information. If your phone number is included, I would change that. Also, you might be able to request a new IP from your ISP.

so what should i do to resolve this?
