Can someone TELL ME WHAT ANIME IS THIS!?!

I'm thinking of a certain anime but can't remember the name. I think it surrounds fighters who use some powers to fight. There is a main character with an outfit like "vash the stampede's" and sunglasses like "kamina's from gurren lagann". His hair is spiky. He has a main enemy with, I think, gray hair ( in a bowl type cut maybe, but longer) and a similar style of outfit. One of them has a red outfit and one has a blue outfit. I think the antagonist is a cyborg or something. I remember in one of their fights, the good guy ripped off the bad guy's arm but it maybe regenerated itself.

The main character is supposed to have a girl accompany him. He uses special powers in addition to his physical fighting abilities.

I think he bears a cross necklace (maybe) The girl who accompanys him is looks like a teenager. When the good guy and the bad guy fought he was like "Your something something isn't strong enough!".

Their powers gives them the abliity to change the forms of the buildings they fought in into rock spikes.

The good guy was getting losing in the beginning

The good guy loses the top half of his clothes eventually. The bad guy pretty much keeps his clothes.

so much anime is so much the same that what we really need are some character names or pics. I've watched a fair bit of anime and I have no idea. Of course I mostly watch the movies, they tend to be better.

Have you considered n image search for any of the characters?

If you manage to find any of them it will likely tell youwhat it's from.
