I'm watching "Kill Your Darlings," starring Daniel Radcliffe and Dane DeHaan. The film is about two Columbia college students and their literary and sexual adventures, as well as the surrounding drama. This film includes a sex scene between Daniel's character and another male character (not DeHaan). After seeing this scene - that is, after seeing Daniel's legs spread wide and pressed up backwards as another man enters him, - I can't think of Daniel as a straight man. How can someone be straight after doing such a graphic, homosexual scene?

@BluRayHiDef: We understand that. I think we're just trying to understand why the sight of an actor playing a vulnerable gay character changes the way you look at the actor.
It depends on how graphic it is. If it's just some essentially PG-13 stuff with cutaways and just kissing, I could buy that. The scene you described seems pretty extreme though. Male-Female ones aren't usually that graphic outside of pornography. You could still be straight I guess. I'm not buying it, but it's not impossible.

Hence, I think it's okay for people to engage in homosexual behavior. However, I still think homosexuality is weird/ strange, particularly among men. The sight of homosexual behavior between males makes me cringe. I can understand if you're offended and/ or puzzled by my opinion, but I can't help how I feel.

I was being hyperbolic; I don't literally cringe when I see homosexuality among men, but I am "weirded out" by it. However, I don't emote in anyway that would suggest how I feel.
