Can u recommend any good indie rock bands?

i started listening to "The Killers" but i've been told that i'm only scratching the surface when it comes to indie rock...

do u know any good ones? 

The Killers is not indie.

Indie would be like Islands, The Apples in Stereo, Architecture in Helsinki and so forth.

...which by the way are all very good.

Indie as a genre, or indie as in "not that well-known yet"?

Either way, check out The Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Interpol, Metric, Cold War Kids, The Arcade Fire and The Ditty Bops. Other popular indie bands include Modest Mouse, Bloc Party and Iron & Wine, but I never really got into these... You might like them though!

Well, it's debatable whether they are indie or not, but they do not get any radio play that I know of.  The bottom line is there is a good chance you haven't heard of them.

Indie rock is a genre of alternative rock that primarily exists in the independentunderground music scene.

This is what wikipedia says it is so I'll say Cold War Kids.
