Can you die from taking more than one sleeping pill? I don't wanna sound stupid, I'm just wondering. Like, if you take three when it reccomends that only ONE will take effect. Cuz my friend just said over aim that he took three sleeping pills on accident cuz he thought they were vitamins..and now he's not answering the phone or texts or IMs. But yu know, just outta curiostiy.
3 should put you in a DEEP sleep... wouldn't be OVERLYconcerned, although substance abuse is always alarming. FYI, many people have ODed from sleeping pills. Marilyn Monroe comes to mind.

no 3 pills wouldnt do anything but put ur friend to sleep.
Remember that the recomended dose is designed to be mild for liablity reasons, its well below any risk, more than that is still below a risky level only taking massive amounts can cause problems.
No, that's highly unlikely. You have to mix many different kinds of medications before you will overdose. Atleast that is what I have read/heard. Like Heath Ledger, he probably wouldn't have died if he hadn't taken one or two different kinds of the pills he had, when you have pain killers, with cold medicine, with sleeping, anxiety and depression pills all together, that's when you have a problem.

I just thought I would address this directly, I kind of did a little bit in my previous post, but oh well. Heath Ledger overdosed on oxycodone, hydrocodone, diazepam, temazepam, alprazolam and doxylamine. He would have lived if he hadn't taken so many different kinds of medications together. I believe these pills were for pain, depression, anxiety, flu and sleeping.
