I can't, but I'm trying to get better at it.
EDIT: I suppose I can do a few, but that's all. It's not tiring or anything, it's just that I have some extra weight and my arms aren't very strong.

I can. Last PT test I did 45. I used to be able to do a lot more when I was in the military, but I've gotten soft with civilian life.
No. My bosom extends further than my arms can reach. A proper pushup is impossible for me.

A proper push up is when your elbows bend more than 90 degrees. Not when your chest hits the ground. :P
[QUOTE="Oleg_Huzwog"]Do you just bounce back on your feet? No. My bosom extends further than my arms can reach. A proper pushup is impossible for me.
Wolls
Not quite. I can bounce up to a kneeling position.
I could do a proper push-up. Most people should be able to. l4dak47
my thought exactly. girls usually do a "cheater push-up" though. and I can do like 20 at a time or something, not my favorite thing in the world to do.
Wait you can not do a push up? I would be worried if you could not do that. Either down to excessive weight or worryingly weak arms :S

Hmmm... it seems I didn't give an adequate description of the intended mental picture.
Of course, I can do 40 nose to floor push-ups before I drop.fabz_95i'm curious how many i can do now :S we should have a push off

Here,by the standardized testing, a proper pushup is when the chest is a fist's length from the ground-while having the palms at shoulder's length.... So what's your definition of a proper PU ,ghokleutter? Here,by the standardized testing, a proper pushup is when the chest is a fist's length from the ground-while having the palms at shoulder's length.... grape_of_wrath
I can't tell if you're agreeing or disagreeing with me.
I've always been taught more than 90 degrees is a correct push up. We don't use the fist to chest method anymore.
I would hope so (do them every other day)rawsavon
Do you have small children on your back when you do them, beefy? :P

I'm doing neither. You live in the states- I don't.here-a standardized pushup is as I wrote. Actually, I used to have a GF sit on my back.
It made doing them in sets with few reps (like 10-15) very effective
-she was only like 120 lbs :P
...that is not an option atm though
Right now I do a supplementary workout at home I got from Hedden93 a couple nights a week and a P90x workout a couple nights a week.
I like having a good 20-30 min workout in the evening to burn some of the crap off from the day (sitting at a desk for 9 hours is not conducive to physical fitness :( )
But my morning workouts are really my main ones

What I wouldn't give for a desk job.
I do a quick weight routine before work since I'm still a baby and thus always forced to work nights.
But on my days off I do my cardio. And I have to say, since you told me to shave my arm pits, I've been so much happier. I don't need to do so much laundry anymore, and my wife has even noticed. I'd give you a hug, but that would be creepy, and you're in Texas. :P

I used to say the same thing about a desk job (when I worked in a tire shop) ...both have their advantages and disadvantages. But staying in shape is SOOOOOO much harder (body is not meant to spend 8 hours at a desk) I had meant to ask you how you liked it. I am glad that I was able to convert you :lol:I had meant to ask you how you liked it. I am glad that I was able to convert you :lol:rawsavon
It took a week for my skin to stop being sensitive, but after I shaved 'em again I didn't have that problem. I don't need to switch shirts in the middle of my shifts anymore(except when it was in the 100s for a couple days), and my wife says I smell a whole lot better. She even lets me hug her after I've worked out, that's how much of an improvement it was. Any more maxims of manhood I need to know? :P
