Is it possible to turn Gatorade into ice? I want to know cus I need to use gatorade to hydrate myself at work (Loading at UPS) and it gets hot in there, so I want to know if gatorade could freeze. I could just look it up on google but I thought it would be more interesting to ask here.

No, Gatorade contains small traces of that acid from Alien, so any ice that would form would be instantly melted. Havn't you ever noticed how when people drink Gatorade, their stomachs are burned open?

Hence the water part, which is what Gatorade is mostly comprised of.

well I think the products in Gatorade have 2 different freezing points. This means that when it melts the water is going to melt first and then the syrup. I really don't remember if this happens to gatorade or some other product though.

Also to point out alcohol does freeze but at a bit lower tempurature than water. Of course you'll need your freezer turned up to -20F to freeze anything at 80 proof.

I've frozen it before just to see what it tastes like, it takes like, twice as long as water but it works, not the best taste though.
