Can you live alone (7 days) in a rumuored Haunted house for 1000 $? Locals warn and complain about many spooky goings on. You have to stay to prove them wrong. You will be given supplies to last you a week and no contact with anyone outside.

I'm a poor guy, so yeah i can definately stay for 1000$.

That's quite a bit less than I make in a week at work, so it would have to be more lucrative. I would need it to be worth it for my time and discomfort. I don't believe in the supernatural, so the haunted aspect wouldn't be a concern for me.

Yes i can live alone for 7 days in a haunted house. But for $1000, no. Try $10,000, then i might just think about it. I don't believe in ghosts, so it would not be a problem. I'll kick their ass if anyone tries to scare me. Show me the $$$

Yeah I could do that but only $1,000, that seems pretty cheap for 7 days.

We've stayed overnight and two nights at some "haunted" places in Nevada, New York, and Gettysburg. Not a damn thing going on in any of them; not even when I hurling insults at the "residents." I kinda looked stupid though talking to myself.

There is no such thing as a haunted house

As long as it has internet access and it's actually a house instead of an old, decrepit hospital or something.

A person could get that money through a job instead of spending their time in a house.

Could I live in a "haunted" house for 7 days? Yes because ghosts are make-believe.

Would I do it for $1000 dollars? No, because I make more than that in 3 days. It would have to be a hell of a lot more for me to take leave from work and waste my time.

Well if I nave good net access proper heating and water? sure no issue at all.

Considering that I already live somewhere where a rotted three legged horse corpse is said to show up, as a warning before a horrible accident or a someone close to you (or yourself) die. In a city that managed to burn down twice (and said to be haunted).

I think I can manage a haunted house for a week. BTW: Europeans have some pretty awesome folklore :)

When that is said, despite such stories are cool, I don't believe in ghosts. So yeah would not bother me.

If I have a reason to stay in say, a haunted motel by myself, sure. It can't be any worse than staying three weeks in the jungles of Colombia, hoping communist guerillas won't stumble upon us.

I don't earn $1000 in a week either, but at least I get to go home. If I'm gonna spend 7 days in a haunted house, then it had better have all the shit that I have at home. Stuff like hot running water, internet access, movies and books and video games, and a refrigerator full of food. Also, I'd need to be able to occasionally leave to get booze, go to the beach, or even just drive around aimlessly because I'm bored. If we're talking about spending literally an entire week WITHOUT LEAVING, and if the house is run down and bare like most haunted houses, then $1000 isn't enough. And that's even with me not making nearly $1000 in a week.

Sure why not just as long as I have my video games, Internet and books I'd be fine. Otherwise it would be too boring.

no, $2000 though, sure

better be an actually home though, not like some abandoned boarded up house with vermin in it that crackheads sometimes use to get high and sometimes murder each other in

better not be the stage for reality TV either or I want like 100x more money on top of a phat royalty percentage

$1000 that about £655. Also if it was to be televised I would want at least a year pay and royalties.

I too have an issue with the small amount of money gained. Plus no outside contact? Like could I at least have Netflix or something to pass the time?

Considering evidence of ghosts and haunting s doesn't exists yes. I'd gladly. I'd just bring my laptop and a satellite dongle play some games and watch some movies and rake in the easy money.

@indzman: I'd do it for less. I legit don't believe in the supernatural or afterlife or ghosts. Never even had the slightest feeling that anything exists outside of biology and science. I think I'd enjoy searching through a creepy place to be honest.

I need more info first? Is it a house that actually rumored to be haunted or is it a fake rumor and people are going to be trying to scare me the whole week? Because if it's the second no, I put my brother in hospital one Halloween because he scared the crap out of me, I'd hate to think what I'd do if already on edge, but I can't imagine it ending any other way than with me in prison for nearly killing someone.

I dont believe in ghosts and I have no reason to believe in ghosts.

Either I get proven wrong, or I get 1000 dollars. Either way I win.
