I am getting more and more into canadian bands. There are some great canadian bands like Animal Collective, Stars, Arcade Fire, and Broken Social Scene really show the kind of unique bands that canada has.

I for one find your lack of Death From Above 1979 disturbing.

There are some great british bands around these days, also there are tons of great bands from other parts of europe too. Like Riverside, they are from Poland I think.

American, but I prefer the stuff that Scandinavia has been coming out with over the last decade.

hmm I don't know, I like a few American bands like Queens of the Stone Age, The Killers and The Strokes, and also a few European rock bands, like Arctic Monkeys, Franz Ferdinand and The Hives, but in the end, I usually prefer Spanish rock over the others.

I listen to rave, and rave only, no rock. So I don't have a clue.

Canada has put out some amazing stuff lately. Quality to quantity, Canada likely wins. That said, USA produces a lot of great stuff. Win-Win, really.

By the way, you're missing Wolf parade/Handsome Furs/Sunset Rubdown. Among many others.
