"If zombies actually existed, an attack by them would lead to the collapse of civilisation unless dealt with quickly and aggressively.

That is the conclusion of a mathematical exercise carried out by researchers in Canada."

Tbh, I honestly think that entire citys will fall if anything of the type would happen. But it seems these guys actually researched it and used scienece for there answer.

Discuss.

Depends on how fast the zombies move...

And why the hell were scientists wasting time on this?

In the study they based them off of the slow walking zombies. Compared to 28 days later. Those ones would just end all life.

My thoughts exactly... An entire continent/island could die, depending on where the outbreak started, but the world? Pssh. I think I speak for all of us when I say, 'Let's hope it's Australia." Kidding. >_>

So you're saying, this scientist, took the time, to tell us what movies have been telling us for 50 years?

This guy failed. Hard. Well of course zombies would lead to the destuction of civilization unless "dealt with" I mean, if you don't "deal" with them, of course they'll get cha.

I'm almost positive this had to do with the legalization of Pot in Canada. Those scientists are probably experimenting with all kinds of useless crap.

not really, while the zombie in the 28 series are fast and agressive, they can die easilly, i shot to the torso or major organ can kill them...hell they can starve to death....*which is just the reason they arnt zombies*

a regular slow romero type zombie can live till its absolutly rotten, and you need to make a headshot to kill them. thats way harder.

Hmm, good point. I still find the 28 days later zombies would be more scary in real life.

Couldn't we just kill all of the zombies with tanks and armored vehicles? Its not as if they can claw through the armor on an M1A2 Abrams tank or a Stryker.

They had to do a study to figure out something that is obvious to anyone who's ever watched a zombie movie in their entire life? :? And anyways, too many zombie threads lately.

lol, I agree. Also, doesn't this scientist have more productive research projects he or she could be working on?
