Canadian Teens Microwave Kitten

I should let it be known that there's idiots in every country, but after learning about this incident, I can pretty much confirm that thetown of Camrose, Canada sports the most of the breed.

Sometime during Christmas eve a group of lowly educated teenagers trashed someones house and put their kitten in a microwave. The laws in Canada against animal cruelty are pretty low, especially in Alberta. One of the four teens are being held in custody, but the others have been released to their rehab parents.

Seems to me that people who have nothing in their brain fill it with the first thing they see, and considering today's society, it's usually some violent act. Personally, I think parents with under aged kids who commit criminal acts, should be responsible for those crimes, and then maybe they'd start focusing a lot more with the responsiblity.

I did point out that there are idiots everywhere. But with the stuff that goes on in that town is pretty sick and it's not that large of a town either.

Well when they go to Hell then that same kitten's soul can come back and microwave them over and over and over and over again for eternity, just 1,000 times more painful.

The kitten will be avenged. Until then I'm sure the justice system will take care of them.

A kids actions isnt always a direct reflection of their parents. A kid could have loving, nurturing parents whom are very strict, and still turn out as ****.Def_Jef88

Not exactly. For some jobs, certain people can look as far back as they want to. Those records are kept somewhere, even if they are said to be "erased".

This is very very sad.
And yes the animal cruelty laws in Canada are pretty low, unfortunately.

There have been several cases of illegal animal breeding in Quebec where the owner eventually just left the animals in the house on their own for months, with no food. The animals ended up eating eachother, they had all kinds of diseases, the floor was covered in feces. When the SPCA found out about this, they called police and the owner of the property was arrested. In the end, all he got was a fine and a restriction saying that he could not breed animals for 2 years.

But this is just horrible...I mean Alberta is very "americanized", or basically "Texas of the North", where everyone hunts, they're basically a bunch of redneck-hicks, and very "outdoorsy" people. Which is why animals cruelty laws are enforced the least in Alberta.
