I'm not too keen on seeing Captain America anyway... I just don't think it has the selling power outside of the US.

Hmm. According to Wiki hes directed Hidalgo, Jurassic Park III, October Sky and Jumanji.

Seems pretty solid to me.

The script was bad, the editing, filming and directing was actually pretty good.

I don't like Captain America that much but its funny because when Iron Man was first announced (and even showed a picture of him) everyone complained and were worried about the movie not doing well, especially because Iron Man wasn't that populare (like Captain America) But just come to show if the movie is good then people will care.

How come Captain America is so lame? I get the patriotic aspect of it but as a country, I think America is past having such a lame superhero, regardless of how succesful it was in the past.

Not too excited about him bein gthe director, I dont think an of his previous works shows he can make a movie about Captain America.
