So I had my first car accident today "as a driver" on Valentines Day out of all the days it had to occur. I thought being single sucked, but getting in a car accident too? I ended up rear ending someone after failing to stop while I slammed my brakes this morning. Luckily no one was injured and I only got a citation with no ticket. Though, the sad thing is the elderly woman I hit was driving to the hospital to visit her dying husband. Her car recieved no damage, while mine completely got jacked up. We were in front of an elementary school when it all happened. When I called 911 I wasn't really sure where I was and couldn't give them my cell because I never remember it. Also, the community service officer that did all the paper work graduated from my school in 04. When I got to school and told the story my friends/teachers were quite concerned. Though the Old People/Asian people can't drive stereotype brought some humor into it. Man I hope I never have to call 911 ever again. I hope the lady and her husband had some nice time together. My advice to everyone is try to drive safely. Expect the unexpected. And does anyone have any driving experiences they would like to share?
I have never had an accident but I almost hit a cop car once. He literally cut me off while I was doing a good speed. Apparently, he forgot to check his mirrors.

I cornered too hard and lost control. In a moment of incredible stupidity, I tried to counteract the direction of the car, and ended up backwards on the other side of the road.
I got T-Boned by a schoolbus. No, i'm not kidding. We've been in litigation since June of last year. We just found out my insurance company hired lawyers and is suing the bus company. Theyre screwed.
