I recently had a minor accident with my car. There was damage to the hubcap, scrapes on the bumper, the turn signal was knocked out of its socket and the fender was dented. Yesterday i was told there was dents on the passenger side doors. I didn't notice the damage and neither did my brother or mother. The doors open and close fine. I can prove that the dents came from the accident or not, and so I chose not to include it into my claim. As far as I know, the dents could have been there for years. The adjustor noticed that there were dents by rubbing his hand across the door. I chose not to have the work done on the doors of the car. It is a 9 year old car anyway. Do you think i made the right decision?

Yeah I would say you made the right decision, you probably couldn't see the dents especially if they are low to the ground. I had a ton of dents on my 1989 S-10 that I had fixed and the repair shop showed me some at the bottom that I didn't even notice. That was 7 years ago and I still don't notice them except when I am at eye level with it.
