...I was home-schooled for 6th and 7th grade cause the schools where I lived were so bad...

Once we moved out of the city I went to regular school...I preferred public...cause Im a social butterfly:D

I'm homeschooled, and while I'm not the smartest person on earth, it's a hell of a lot better than public school.

And my social life is great, thank you.

I'm homeschooled, and while I don't have the best(or any) social life, I have to stay home for weeks at a time due to serious health reasons. There is no way I can go to public school.

Besides, all those people is way too overwhelming. I'd probably be constantly stressed out like I was before I got pulled out of school after 3rd grade.

home schooling is okay except I think it doesnt' help kids develop social skills they woudl in public schools having to deal with tons of kids every day.rudyroundhead

Interesting. If I was in public school I'd be in 10th grade next year, you? Unless that's too personal. Homeschooling is awesome because I'm almost done with high school now. It's alot easier to go at your own pace.

I would get so bored with homeschool...public school was interesting everyday because you went through it with friends.

We had dumbasses like him in public school as well. This topic suggests that kids in public schools are geniuses and home schooled kids are retards. Which isn't true.

I have friends that have been homeschooled until the last few years of their high school education and they are what the mainstream of the world could consider fine, being the judgemental...*sigh*...

Anyways..I'm not picking sides here, but really---a case against homeschooling in general is less likely to go anywhere than a case against public schooling.
