Does anyone here still use cash ? Going to the ATM to take out cash feels strange to me. It seems all is paid by debit or credit now adays. Do you guys still use cash or are you like me and just Debit and Credit ?

I'd rather not leave a paper trail of my purchases. I really don't trust banks or anyone else who deals with personal information.
Almost everywhere I go they accept credit, so that's what I use. I'm not comfortable carrying around large quantities of cash and using a credit card is more reliable and easier to keep track of purchases. That and by the time a mugger can use your card, you'll have cancelled it. If they get cash, there is nothing you can do to get it back.
I only use cash when I can't use my credit card, which is seldom. The credit card pays reward points, cash doesn't. It's a no-brainer for me. But like any smart consumer, I never carry a balance on the credit card, as the rewards then become totally meaningless in the face of exorbitant interest rates.

This says it all. Not meant to brag but so far by using cc we have gotten plane tickets, 2 GPS devises, gift cards, cash rebates, magazines etc... all for free. The trick is to never ever carry a balance on it.

Sweet. For my part, I've been awarded about $900 of free food since I started using a credit card. Some programs pay a slightly higher percentage, but I'm not interested in what they offer. Air miles, for instance, would be useless to me.

Haha that's my reaction at first, but as the rewards keep on coming we went with the "why don't we just go along with whatever we are getting?" mentality and have done things we probably wouldn't have done. Recently we use the airline tickets to go to San Francisco with the GPS and rented a car there.... we had so much fun driving around the place:D Without the GPS we would've gotten so hopeless lost in San Francisco
