So far the Celtics are doing really well with 18-2 record. If the big three can stay healthy they have a good chance for reaching the 70 win mark.

They might hit 60 but I highly doubt they'll hit 70 and they definitely won't be breaking the Bulls 72-10 mark.

Your right its early in the season and 60 seems more realistic.

We also have yet to see the Celtics play some elite teams Western teams like the Suns, Spurs, Rockets, Mavs, or the Jazz... and they've yet to play the Pistons yet. So I would say their schedule would be getting more difficult as the season goes along too.

60 is a realistic goal, but 70 may be a bit of a stretch.

They won't sniff the bulls record...I'd like to see them play the 90's Bulls though...

This isn't a question of if the Celtics are a dynasty, but rather how good this year's team is. And compared to the '95 Bulls, I just don't believe that this year's Celtics can come close to matching that.

If the Celtics did not get Garnett I seriously doubt they would be on top like they are now. The Bulls in 95 had one of the top teams ever in NBA history. Had Jordon not left for those two years The Bulls would have wonmore than 6 titles in 8 years. The Celtic team of today is a very good team, but I think they will win in the mid 60's, maybe 65, but not 70.Those fools Kobe andO'neil couldn't win 70, even having the coach they had.

They should probably get about 50 - 65 wins this season because of the Big 3 and all of that stuff but in some other facts, the dominant western teams are catching like the Spurs, Mavs, Suns and the like... I think Dwight Howard will think of a freakish thing to beat Boston especially with his 25.8 pts and 13.4 rbs average. But still there is a 25% chance they'll catch up with the damn 72-10 record of the bulls in the 90s...

They'll have a chance to, but it most likely won't happen. Plus, one of the big 3 are due to go down to injury anytime soon considering it's inevitable.

do you know what the hell a dynasty is? The celtics were a dynasty back in the day...but the bulls for most of the 90s were also a dynasty. And the 07 celtics would get slaughtered by jordan's bulls...

Yes 82 games in a season the 95-96 Bulls got 72-10 and Jordan stamped them as one of the best teams ever.

Didn't they say that about the Mav's last year? Or the year before? (I can't remember) Either way, no way. You've got too many teams that can knock them off and they've got no key players aside from the Big 3. You get them an arsenal of players like the Bull's had (And they were only an arsenal after Pip and Jordan made them better) then maybe.

Rodman was a hell of a player, even before he went to chicago. He was certainly not well liked, but he was a great player. You know Jordan hired somebody just to wake Rodman up everyday?
