You could stalk them, and hide in their showers.

Research the qualifications for becoming a game designer, what courses to take in college, and where the best places to go would be. Preferably, going to an art school would be your best place to look.

Your aiming too high. You'll have a much better chance working in smaller companies, not even in the capcom console department, but the pc department also. This all depends on your skill though, are you talented enough? Do you have the creativity? Are you flexible for the ever changing conceptual department? Do you have degrees in various fields? Are you familiar with several different graphic desing software. These are all good questions to ask yourself when working in the conceptual design field.

Well have you talked to your counselors and done research on what it takes to end up in a place like Capcom? You will most likely start out at smaller companies, but as you get more and more experience, you'll get to move up on the latter. Eventually if you really stick to it, you may end up at places probably as high as Capcom. That's pretty much my best advice. Just stick with it and talk to other people in the business.

Do you have a portfolio I could critique?

In order to work for a company like Capcom, you're going to need a top-notch portfolio, excel in your foundational art skills, and be able to speak fluent Japanese

Well, once you've amassed a big art portfolio, then maybe it's time to send your work to various companies that are hiring. A lot of game companies post job listings, you can start from there and see what they are looking for. It wouldn't hurt to send out copies of your work. Character conceptual design is only a piece of the pie, you will probably have to illustrate landscapes and settings/objects as well. Pick up as much art classes as possible. Even go for the water color or clay sculpture classes that are offered at community colleges. The more you have in your resume the more likely they will consider on hiring you.
