Well, I don't know about having it coming but it is quite known that his lifestyle was, shall we say, wild. He was blackmailed for years and basically came out with it just to stop the blackmail, quite sad.

I feel bad for his ex-wife and kids. Now they have to deal with his poor decisions.

I'm hardly surprised by this, but I would hardly argue that he deserved this (or anyone else for that matter).

Actually his porn star "girlfriends" are probably going to be ok because if they want to work they get tested on a regular basis. It's the random women that he had sex with that are more at risk and whoever had sex with them afterwards. On a cynical note if you contracted HIV in the last four years in LA from casual sex you could make a case for suing Charlie Sheen.

I'm with you there. I don't know much about the side effects of the medicine mix they use to battle HIV, but he should be able to live relatively fine with medication, assuming he found out about it fast enough.

There's a morally ethical responsibility in letting people be aware you have HIV/AIDS in case they're at risk so obviously Sheen had to have known at some point he had it or who knows how long he would've lasted without treatment. That's why carriers can even be charged in court for spreading the disease onto others and he knows that, hence the legal preps he's taking.

Well, you live a risky lifestyle this is the risk you take. And, as it would seem, even Charlie Sheen can't be winning forever.

That's unfortunate. I feel sorry for the guy. Thankfully it's not quite the death sentence that it once was and this will put a stop to people blackmailing him.
