i heard min wage is going up, and salaries going up trying to promote businesses to pay more or we do not get what we deserve for the work we do, but i think even if salaries go up that will just increase prices, or find some technology to the point where they do not need that many workers, (i think they trying to make that happen now)

what if housing and bills were lower instead ?? wouldn't that just make everything better ?

Why would companies voluntarily lower their costs for bills such as utilities, groceries, etc.?

You saw what happened when the real estate market crashed and houses were at an all-time low...that did nothing to help stimulate the economy.

It's all relative. If you raise the minimum wage, then so will everything else increase.

Apartment prices go up because of property taxes. Then you have the unbelievable amount of regulation and the cost of adhering to those rules. Then you have an inherently corrupt system where the COUNTY that you pay the property taxes to gets to value said property. But it wouldn't be so bad if property taxes weren't used to fund everything under the sun.

Yes, things would be better if politicians actually focused on making things cheaper.

The wage-price spiral is a natural economic process when you have a growing money supply & inflation, and not inherently a bad thing. It's not a simple matter to define price rises as a "good thing" or a "bad thing" for everyone. As in almost all economic events, some benefit and others lose.

The one good thing that was low were mortgage rates. The wife was so happy when we refinanced our other house.
