So I rubbed up against a stop sign and scratched it pretty bad. Not all the scratches are too deep, but I need a fast and cheap way to fix them. Any ideas?

wash the car, then use either paint cleaner or clay bar. If the scratch is still noticible, use a buffing compound, if it's deep then try some very fine work with some touch up paint. Let it dry for a day or so, then lightly buff it again (you're just trying to get rid of some of the blotchiness and smooth out the touch up paint to fit in better). Then you probably want to wait a few days before waxing it again, so that the paint can dry and cure properly.
