Choose a life!

You are 27 years old and your life has led you to one of the following paths, choose one, and I suggest you read them through.

Corporate Capitalist

Educated the expensive way, you gained your independence straight after leaving university and worked your way up the ladder of a respected firm in the centre of New York. You have your luxury apartment but have little time to spend in it, as your work is your life, but you love your work and your damn good at it. Your raking in the money, but other then the occasional flamboyant demonstration you have little time to spend it. Perhaps your long term goal is to retire a rich man/woman, but one thing you can not change is that you are emerged in your job, in a business that has come to rely on you.

Outer Suburbanite

You have a secure job and receive a modest pay. You have been happily married and started a family at a young age. You live in the outer subarbs closest to the city of Chicago where you live the American Dream. You are the head of a nuclear family with your son and daughter only two years apart. You work the nine till five, but that still gives you the weekends and vacasions to spend with your family and interests.

Savant

Your base is your own four room extension above your parents home in Stockholm, Sweden. You have few outgoings so most of the money you earn you get to keep. You spent years studying drama and art where you earned a few internationally recognised qualifications, while building up a strong social circle of interesting, diverse friends from all walks of life. Your social life is what it's all about, due to your living arrangements you can get away with working part time, manage yourself as a student or perhaps take up a temporary job to stock up on the money for your next long trip abroad.

I didn't choose life!

Your a heroin addict who lives in a council flat in a council estate near Edinburgh, Scotland. You claim jobseekers, but when that's not enough you and your mates must steal to fund your drugs. You hit clubs for casual sex and then a few years later die of Toxoplasmosis. Live free, die young.

I'd go with the second choice- other suburbanite, because I'd like to have lots of spare time and people to love.

The thing is with Savent you gotta remember, is your long term goals! Your not as independent as the Corparte Capalist and the the Outer Suburbs family, so although to enjoyed the most out of life and shall continue to do so for many years, sooner or later it will end and your lifestyle will change. However, it's sure to be worth it, and with the skills and experiences you learned from your years of education and travel, maybe your ready for it.

I got more to say but I may use that as bumping tools for later as I put a bit of work into that.

Aye, I put that there as a joke although I could of actually built on the idea to be a sensible decision now I think about it. At the time I was intending to do the three, I suppose I could go on and on with all kinds of scenarios. Might make another one of these in future with more obscure choices.

Want more votes! I'm surprised and happy to see how Savant is doing so well, as I think it's the future for many more in time. With the cost of living and employment situations, familes will need to stick together in order to create a better standard of living. Unless you are within the lucky few who managed to live a life where your either very gifted, lucky or supported by large inheritance, your probably going to struggle through life in a world where they try hard to keep the poor poor.

A family can be like a syndicate, and when your able to go against certain stigmas and become each others saftey nets. The thing is, that stigma is hard to break, and it's natural that we desire to fly away from the nest, but of course the description of my choice I have given for the Savant suggests that although you live attached to your parents, you still get your own space. I got this idea from time I spent in Sweden, I noticed how many of the houses built up, where instead of the siblings moving out and getting homes of there own they built another layer on top of the home they already owned.

The way I look at the Corporate Capitalist is it's someone who will make a large impact on this world. They are an amazing person who has achieved what no one can deny. They may look down at you from their noses and will have a right to. I can understand why some will make it their pick, but it's too far from reality for something of the kind to appeal to me personally. I'm not interested in my status so much as my standard of living.

Corporate Capitalist would be just fine by me. I like it when people need to rely on me as opposed to the other way around, and yes I like the idea of the freedom the money would provide and be able to retire (hopefully) at an early age and live comfortably from then on.

I would like to be an Outer Suburbanite by the time I'm 27 as family is everything to me. However I think I would end up a Corporate Capitalist. I have no luck with love ...

Yes, pretty much. Heroin, theft, underage sex (that's a schoolgirl he's walking away with there). Actually I borrowed the idea from the movie Trainspotting.

I'll go with the Outer Surburbanite. I want kids and family is important to me. It's most in line with what I want to accomplish in life anyway. Perhaps not the most exciting life, but it would make me the most happiest I think.
