Chris Brown says he deserves respect, should we give it to him?

In the latest of the great Chris Brown and his antics, he asks that we give him respect, in his new rant on his instagram.

So OT, should we give him respect? What are your opinions on the guy?

IMO I think he's kind of a D-Bag, his music was interesting for a little bit, but he's kind of the Lindsay Lohan of the Pop culture.  I think he kind of blew it with what he's been up to, and too many people have been put in harms way in keeping him in the lime light.

I will respect him only if he cuts his own balls off so he can't procreate, because he should NEVER have children.

i dont see how my feelings towards him will make a difference in any of our lives, i'm no one's groupie nor critic. I'm just fortunate to have my own life to worry about. CB is doing well for himself reguardless if i/we care or not. it's not like any of us knows him personally, so to judge him off what we see through the media will only show signs of envy and having nothing better to do...

i just dont see the point in hating or wasting time on someone who cares nothing about you...thats just silly.

I have never liked his music..and i love pop/r&b/dance ect..but ive never cared for him. he thinks too highly of himself. and you earn respect,its not given out. He needs to go away honestly..save up his money..live off of it..and never show his face again..

He continues to demonstrate the classic behavior of a domestic abuser. He shows little remorse for his actions and feels instead that he is the one being persecuted. I feel bad for that girl because this guy is not going to change. It takes a special kind of person to hit a woman.

What makes his situation worse is Rihanna got back with him, pretty much telling all of her fans who are current or future abuse victims that not only is it okay to get back with your abuser, but if anybody says you are making a mistake they are an idiot who can't forgive somebody. ad1x2
