I was fine with him doing something different (when Iheard his James Bond track) but I didn't know it would lead to this. How odd, how strange. Soundgarden, Temple of the Dog, Audioslave. Those all sounded good for Cornell but this is ridiculous. His songwriting went to hell too.

I haven't heard the new G'N'R album personally. I heard that it was uncharacteristic techno-pop, whatever that means. If what you say is true, that has to be a new low - worse than new Guns'N'Roses. Wow.

I knew things were heading downhill when I heard Audioslave tracks - utter trash. It was even worse when they would cover Rage Against the Machine or Soundgarden songs in concerts. In my opinion, they couldn't pull them off.entropyecho

To me the first Audioslave album was bad. The musicians couldn't line up with Chris's voice and it all felt strange. Second and third album seemed right to me at least. The thing about that band that didn't go to well was the themes of the songs. There was a good amount of songs that just didn't bring out any true emotion.
