Chris Matthews thinks it's a good thing Hurricane Sandy happened. WTF?

[QUOTE="DaBrainz"]I used to like Chris Matthews, I viewed him as the only reasonable person on MSNBC. This election really brought out a nastiness in him I don't appreciate.Jebus213Can a conservative say the same thing about Sean Hannity? I don't remember Sean Hannity ever being reasonable, election or not.

It wasn't so long ago where Chris Matthews was not talking over his guests and crying about how things were not going his way, but I suppose that was a couple of years before the presidential election ramped up. Honestly I feel like that happened to everyone on MSNBC (well okay, Ed Schults was always terrible, honestly the guy needs to go do sports commentary) with the notable exception of Rachel Maddow who, despite her reputation, is very well humored along with making sure that her guests get to speak and then she will respond.

MSNBC is actually a lot more partisan though.People always hate on FOX, but MSNBC is the exact same thing, just politically opposite.

He doesn't literally mean it's a good thing to be fair. But still, being an experienced man of the media, he should know better than to make a comment like that which can be easily twisted and misinterpreted. Probably regrets it now.michaelP4Especially with social media and our 24 hour news cycle, everyone has to watch what they say. I dont think he meant any malice by it.
His rant about how Obama's victory speech was bad because it wasn't partisan enough, and didn't mention Bill Clinton, (Obama called President Clinton right before the speech and had a personal conversation with him thanking him for, well, saving the election for him) seemed... unhinged. He was really getting into it with the other people at the desk, I thought him and Sharpton were about to get into a fight. Then their is this. He should have excused himself from the desk and gone to bed right after the election was called. My girl Rachel tried to keep it together to her credit, and eventually got him to shut up.PhilosophoYeah, he has the biggest hard-on for the Clintons out of all the MSNBC pundits there. I really only like Maddow, Ed Schultz, and Lawrence O'Donnell.
It's quite clear he meant it in another way. But man. Do not say things like that; media training 101 will tell you the odds of it being twisted or misunderstood are insanely high. Guy should know better. Also hi hi GreySeal ;3 it's been a whileMrPraline
'Sup. How's it going?
I'd ignore Chris Matthews...I remember not to long ago he was calling for the american people to be "disarmed"
Well, that seems a bit mean spirited.Christ Matthews would let Obama f*ck his wife right in front of him, and he'd probably pleasure himself while it was happening. The guy is a pathetic, worthless, beta-male sh*theel.

Saw an exit poll yesterday that had 15% of voters citing Obama's response to hurricane Sandy as the "most" important reason for their vote........ http://thinkprogress.org/climate/2012/11/06/1152421/exit-polls-2012-hurricane-sandy-was-a-deciding-factor-in-the-election/?mobile=ncMafireeThat's literally what he meant. He didn't say something the wrong way, he said something that if he was more aware he would not have said but he still meant it. He was saying it was good because it was one last thing Obama could campaign on before the election.
