Christian Bale is only 37 yet has quite a few movies under his belt.

What do you think of the actor? Any good?

I was quite surprised at the oscar win for The Fighter. Too bad I didn't see the movie, guess I'll wait for the DVD release.

Anyway the guy was only 13 years old when he starred in Empire of the Sun, though the first movie I saw him in was Reign of Fire, a personal favorite of mine even if it didn't do so well at the box office or just wasn't very remembered by people.

The Machinist is one of my favourite films. I thought he did a great job in The Fighter as well. He is a very good actor.

Love him. Most underrated performance is in The Machinist. He was also good in 3:10 To Yuma and The Prestige.

I think Batman is a pretty cool guy. eh kills hookers with chainsaws and doesnt afraid of anything.

The first movies I ever saw of his were Newsies and Swing Kids when I was really young. I think he's a pretty damn good actor.

empire of the sun was his best movie . Its kinda sad the man the story is based on died 2 years ago .

Every movie he was in, I really enjoyed.

The prestige, the fighter, the batman movies just to name a few.

Yes The Machinist is amazing, Christian Bale did an amazing job. I thought he looked really weird though because of how skinny he was

Generally, over-actors are at their best when they can be themselves... I agree 100%... he clearly had a connection with the character...

He is one of my favourites.

He's in my top 10 - fo' sho.

I never really recognized him at all until batman, and haven't really seen him since. Good actor in those movies though.

He's very good he just needs to pick the right movies.

My favorite role by him is Trevor Reznik, in The Machinist, easily.

The man sells his soul for his vocation - gotta give credit for these method actors, Not quite Daniel Day, but I admire his beefy balls. Never realised he was in the 80s adaption of Henry V - I love that liddle ol' movie.

I watched a ducmentary on American Psycho and the director said that when he auditioned she knew immediately that he was Patrick Bateman.

American Psycho is his best acting job imo. One of my favorite monologues in films right here.

Christian Bale is an excellent actor and indeed my favourite actor. The Dark Knight, The Prestige, The Machinst, American Psycho, The Fighter, 3:10 to Yuma, Batman Begins are all in my top25 movies of all time. Some in top5.
