I'm running short on Christian Rock bands lately, so I wanted to get some recommendations from people that would know. Bands that I am aware of:

  • Switchfoot.
  • Guardian.
  • Leeland.
  • Skillet.
  • Kutless.
  • Flyleaf.
  • Hillsong.
  • Relient K.
  • Delirious.
  • Audio Adrenaline.

Anything that would fall among those already mentioned?

I'm not really sure if these are Christian, but they're good bands and I think they are.

Christian Rock fan who types in red...

Very interesting.

I used to type in blue due to my previous theme. Soujiro from Rurouni Kenshin. But my current Enishi theme feels better in red.

You probably won't like Metalcore, but I suggest Underoath. I'm not religious myself but they're music is pretty awesome and intricate.

That depends, since I've never listened to metalcore. Does it have those weird screamos that make it sound like the guy is losing his throat throughout the entire song? If not, I can withstand. I don't mind some crazy shout, I just dislike the entire growling throughout a song.

Its a combination of yelling and melodic singing. It took a while for me to get used to. It was mostly the drumming that got me into them. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3RNYCGEPW38

Christian rock is actually very unchristian if you think about it. What good god loving Christians would actually want to torture people with the worst genre of rock music ever conceived.

True but all the general themes of CCM are there minus the bad music and lyrics.

I highly recommend Rush of Fools. They've been around a few years and have 3 albums. The first is called Rush of Fools and the 2nd is called Wonder of the World. I'm not sure what the 3rd one is called.

Hillsong is my absolute favorite. United, their youth band, just came out in February with their new album, Live in Miami. The main Hillsong group is coming out with their new album this summer, Cornerstone.

Another good Christian music ministry is Sovereign Grace Music. It's a mix of rock and worship songs by different artists. You can find them on iTunes.
