Chuck Norris and Alveda King marches with All Lives Matter crowd

i bet they all attended just to meet chuck norris. would you attend a rally if one of ur favorite celebrity was attending it?

Led by conservative activist and talk show host Glenn Beck, 20,000 supporters chanting "All Lives Matter" marched the historic civil rights route from Kelly Ingram Park to Birmingham City Hall this morning.

Actor Chuck Norris, a conservative activist known for his martial arts, action movies and TV show "Walker, Texas Ranger," marched about two rows behind Beck. Alveda King, a niece of civil rights activist the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr., marched in the front row. Bishop Jim Lowe, pastor of the predominantly black Guiding Light Church in Birmingham, co-organized the march with Beck and marched with him at the front. As a child, Lowe attended Sixteenth Street Baptist Church, where the march started, a headquarters church for the civil rights movement in Birmingham. Lowe and his sisters were in the church when a KKK bomb blew up the church and killed four little girls on Sept. 15, 1963.

I don't think they are all there just to see Norris -although that is icing on the cake -, I think they are marching because they support the idea that all lives matter.

I would most certainly attend a rally if one of my favourite celebrities were there. Chuck Norris is awesome, wish I could be there.

From the scant information I have read so far, I don't see anything wrong with this march.

Indeed. But watching Hercules now, that show has age horribly in terms of graphics but still, it was my childhood t.v series.

Agreed. And there are some pretty impressive females in this show. Dressed lightly according to the ancient Greek era. ;)

@korvus: That's quite interesting news. I wonder if she's gonna star as an older Xena or maybe as an aged Xena looking back at her past and a younger actress playing the main part. Or she might just co-produce. Nevertheless I'll be keeping an eye out for old time's sake. Thanks for bringing this to my attention.

And on topic: yeah I would attend if any of my fav actors did so as well, like Tom Cruise. :P

For a moment I thought I teleported into an alternate universe in which Chuck Norris marched in a Black Lives Matter rally.

I see a classic of political deception and revolutionary abortion is still well and alive; if a rebellious movement gives you a headache either hijack it or come up with your own counter revolutionary movement. The fact that the rally is spearheaded by Glen Beck and is boasting such esteemed gentlemen as Chuck Norris says it all.

As for the question, I'd be ashamed of myself if my political activities were dictated by a silly infatuation with a nobody I never met.
