He had a Yoshi avatar and a sig of like, 5 guys from an old tv show. oh ok. I was talking about BayAreaX who got banned after he made a thread about 50 cent and some white kid. Does anyone get how can one get banned after creating a post party thread because I got no clue.

The entire ecosystem of Off Topic is in mortal perile!
Normally regular uses would be banned in harmony with the influx of new posters who would attain "regular" status only to be banned thus completing the circle of life/banning. It happened at a good rate 1 banned user for every 2 new ones. each user had a 50/50 chance of becoming a regular. This prevented stagnation and overpopulation.
Now with the bannings happening faster then the ecosystem can replenish them Off Topic is at risk of certain destruction! With the ammount of new users who fail to attain status in enough numbers to replace the banned ones the boards will fall into a state of chaos where nobody knows anyone except for LJBasic.
Eventually the mods will begin to self canibalize turning on one another banning themselves left and right. Suicide threads will skyrocket and then become commonplace.
