Cloud Atlas

Has anyone seen it? I'm curious to watch it, and likely will regardless of what reviews say. I just would like some opinions anyway from anyone who's ever seen it, or maybe read the book. And if you haven't seen it, would you care to?

Looks interesting. I think I will check it out on cheap tuesday.

I hear the performances are great, the make-up can be goofy for certain characters and the time periods can range from pointless to amazing.

All in all in sounds like a very long but interesting movie. I'll wait til it comes out on Blu-ray to watch it. I just can't sit in a theater for 3 hours without Batman or hobbits.

anyway, the trailer looked interesting so I may check it out. Going by metacritic it seems critics hated it but viewers loved it. But then again, movie critics are just pretentious f*cks

lol same. If the movie isnt full on explosions or cool special effects then I feel its a waste of money. To see movies only because of the story I can see them at home. No need for a big screen for that

I saw it two months ago at a film festival here. I like the idea and "scope" of it but it's not particularly entertaining past the first third. This movie is like the Matrix trilogy condensed into one movie with only the first third being good.
