Do you use colognes? What are some good ones? What do you prefer on the opposite sex, or which ever sex(es) you are attracted too?

I use this stuff:

It's a masculine scent possesses a blend of wild flowers, linen, amber and tobacco. I use it regularly since I have poor social skills and tend to rely on my good looks and the amazing power of pheromones to attract ladies (no joke)

This is a topic for all things pertaining to Cologne, pheromones, and the power of scent - if you derail this topic -I will hunt you down, oh yes - I will hunt you down.

Ready, GO!!

I didn't mean that way. I think smells are for women, in the same way that jewelry are for them. I think men should only care about their hair and not wear anything else

I disagree. Colognes smell manly imo. Girls perfumes smell completely different. Sort of a fruity alot of times. Girls love the smell of colonge, Girls like guys that smell good just like how guys like girls that smell good.

So anyway, I use BVLGARI along with this shampoo for my hair that a friend picked up from me in Beijing. Pretty much every single person I've met has given me compliments about how I smell.

It smelt great though haha! IMO, I have no idea why people who normally buy branded clothing, designer, etc don't buy colognes that are expensive because for me, the prices justifies everything. Olfaction is a major component in attracting women, maybe even more so then your Rolex.

Yah it's body spray, so I guess it's not technically a cologne, but it makes me smell good regardless. Oh yah, I stay away from Axe, way to strong for me, I hate it.

I was being specific and targeting a specific group of people. I wasn't being general. I didn't say "I don't understand why people buy branded clothing and don't buy expensive cologne", clearly stating that if you buy branded clothes you don't buy cologne. Following me? Instead, I said something along the lines of, "...people who buy branded clothing but don't buy expensive cologne" meaning I was referring to people who do buy branded clothing, but dont buy expensive cologne. Ya dig?

IDK about you guys, but whenever I use Axe I end up smelling like sweat or mild fumes from burnt rubber. It must have something to do with my natural body odor mixing with the Axe.

They're both derivatives of the same product. Perfume is the actual fragrant oil and the different names just relate to the perfume/alcohol ratio. You could easily make female cologne or female aftershave. I don't currently however i did find one that i'ld seriously consider getting: "Dunhill London". The vast majority of them are terrible but that seems to be consistent for both female and male fragrances. [QUOTE="chansaet"] I disagree. Colognes smell manly imo. Girls perfumes smell completely different. Sort of a fruity alot of times. Girls love the smell of colonge, Girls like guys that smell good just like how guys like girls that smell good.

That depends on the individual cologne. Girls will like the smell of it if the idea is that women buy it for men however if it's designed for men to buy it for themselves then it will smell good to men.

I think it's gone out of popularity here for that exact same reason. Back at HS there used to be a visible mist of it in the changing rooms  though it always smelt like one odor covering another (and usually losing).

I wear perfume rather than cologne, but I bought Calvin Klein Euphoria Men for my boyfriend last valentine's day, I love the smell of it. I don't like the other version of it though, it's in a darker bottle. Doesn't smell as good.

It's always great to smell good. Your odor can define you. If you smell like *&$# people won't want to be around you. If you smell masculine and rich, you have this aura about you that demands respect.

I do! Palantas likes:

Old Spice

Yes, I just went to the bathroom where I'm staying and took this picture. At one point, I probably had 20 different colognes: A number of the Versace fragrances, Diesel, Ralph Lauren, Hugo Boss, and so forth. I came to discover I like Old Spice better than any of them. I like the way it smells whenI first put it on. Hours later, I like the way it still smells. The next day when I shower, I like the way it smells when it washes out.

So yes, I will wear a Valentino suit, a Brooks Brothers shirt, and a Breitling watch with cologne that costs less than $10 a bottle. No reason to spend more when I've found something I like. :)

I use Classic from Banana Republic.

If you're looking to find one, this guy and his girlfriend review different colognes.

Stetson black, usually. I also have some tag midnight, that smells *sorta* similar. I rather like 'em. Sampling of a review on stetson black I found: "If you are the rugged type, the masculine type, even the effeminate type, a few dabs of Stetson Black strategically sprayed in the right places will help to enhance your natural scent and natural beauty. Women, Men, whatever your preference will instantly come flocking to the enticingly sweet, rugged scent of Stetson Black. " oh yeah. I like this stuff. 8)

Yeah, all the time.

Ew, IMO, cologne is only for women.

Wut. :| Also, I picked up some Aeropostle Sport. It's not too bad. I prefer Armani Code or Acqua Di Gio, though =/
