LOL

Not that it'll ever happen; secession requires the approval of Congress. Still, it's cute to watch these fools try.

Who's willing to bet that it's mostly Tea Party idiots who want this?

"secession requires the approval of Congress."

Why do you think such a thing would never happen?

Because it's very unlikely.

A few Colorado counties seceding and making a fifty-first state would change the political, geographical and economic landscape of the country, all for some paranoid rednecks who likely can't afford to buy off Congress enough to make them do what they want.

My guess is that the voters will probably vote against doing so.

Yes you are, in pretty much every thread you enter.

Word of advice, bro: just don't respond to him anymore. He's purposely dense or the biggest moron on this forum.

Yeah, you're right. I've already wasted enough seconds of my life on him that I'll never get back.

It's happened twice in American history (Maine, West Virginia).

Different, and rather extreme, circumstances though. Maine seceded from Massachusetts when Massachusetts would not defend them from British invasions. And West Virginia broke away from Virginia during the Civil War because they wanted to remain with the Union, not the Confederacy.

US should allow it. Then set up a big fence around them with patrols to ensure no illegals enter the US.

Over the years they would simply become a fat big government state like the rest of them. I support them doing this, but it won't change anything in the long run, especially with the expansion of the federal government which overrides state laws. Their gun rights will be destroyed when the liberals have a way with the states, eventually enacting stricter and stricter gun laws until you are not allowed to own a firearm. It is the natural path of government to expand. Every law and idea starts small, then grows into a monstrosity.

Statistically, with less guns, there would be less deaths though.

Not surprised you support more deaths.
