they should be fined 500k and lose a draft pick like the pats.

I do not get how they cheated?Basic_Instinct
they idea is that the sound crew for the stadium uses fake crowd noises so the patriots players cant hear the signals and audibles.

Because that's easiliy comparable to what the Patriots did.
its worse. they actually played music while the game was giong on instead of just video taping and interpreting the videos

It's not worse, and it hasn't even been confirmed. Alot of staidums play music in the arena, are you they being accused? No.
Actually yes, it is currently being investigated.

That would actually turn out to be pretty big if true, the Colts crank it up so high the opposing team can't hear their play calls when on offense.

its cheating because it interferes with offensive play calling ANDcauses false starts/delays of games / wasted time outs
WHy would they come up with a plan that would affect them just as much? And the people next to the speakers would then be deaf as well......

have you ever played football? music pumps up the defense and it can screw up audibles for offense, or the snap count
Read the other comment below, it's a news report quote that says...
From Newsday
"It didn't take the league long to find out that the Colts were not at fault for a crowd noise issue. "CBS has informed us that the unusual audio moment heard by fans during the Patriots-Colts game was the result of tape feedback in the CBS production truck and was isolated to the CBS broadcast," NFL vice president Greg Aiello tells us. "It was in no way related to any sound within the stadium and could not be heard in the stadium."
You should do some research before you start pointing fingers. _Marisa_
you know what? you can hear the music skip BUT you dont hear his voice skip.... odd. use your brain before you start telling people to use research

Seriously, the Colts cheated and you don't have anything to show otherwise except for some red letters. How do I know that you just didn't make all of that up, put it in big red letters to make yourself look important, and then post it on here?
NFL VICE PRESIDENT said the colts did not cheat "It was in no way related to any sound within the stadium and could not be heard in the stadium." I'm pretty sure if the NFL vice president clears them of cheating, they didn't cheatIMO, the colts DID cheat but the NFL doesn't want another cheating scandal on it's hands. Another thing like this could completely undermine the leauge's crediblity.xboxdudeman800How did they cheat? Have the fans cheer? I guess we have to ban cheering/jeering.

Okay, I was going to continue spouting nonsense (which is totally what my last post was), but I'll stop. I just wanted to rock the boat a little bit. 8) I was bored.

They cheated by actually playing a close game with the patriots, and not letting them run up the score with their 1st stringers. ono

Did you read what I wrote. I do believe the colts cheated by using the sound system innapropriatly, but the leauge denied it in an attempt to save it's credibility. Mabye next time you could read my post instead of posting a sarcastic remark that adds nothing to the discussion.

I saw nothing about tampering with a sound system in the quoted post.[QUOTE="xboxdudeman800"]How did they cheat? Have the fans cheer? I saw nothing about tampering with a sound system in the quoted post.Have you been following this thread at all? The colts were accused of abusing their sound system, and therfore cheating. I then agreed with it.

Of course I've been following the thread. I was going to call Decessus out in his post, but he was being funny. But you said they were cheating and for all I know you could have been complaining about how they used camera's like in Spygate.[QUOTE="g-unit248"]haha wow you cant be serious, even if that is real it is not cheatingB0Knows
then neither is spying; kuz just like what they did its against the rules
last time i checked spying was a bigger deal than playing noise, ans besides CBS already said it was a production issue having nothing to do with the sounds inside the stadium...

Yep last years Super Bowl Champs are Cheaters. Everyone loves to hate the Patriots so lets all jump on that bandwagon and just say things like this dont matter right. Nope. Patriots are the best team in Football currently and its time for everyone to learn this and accept it because its true, its not an opinion anymore its a fact. These Patriots with Tom Brady as QB will go down as one of the greatest football teams in the history of the game.
[QUOTE="LukeAF24"]How is that cheating exactly?MattUD1Apparently if you make enough noise so that the other team can't adjust a play it's cheating...
Apparently. I guess every team should play on a neutral field from now on.

I don't think a crowd being loud is against the rules. The dispute is about whether or not the Colts artificially pumped in crowd noise through the speaker system. If it were true, which has been pointed out many times already as false, then that would be a violation of league rules.
