I am going to buy a graphic novel, but have no idea what to buy! I was an avid comic bookreader in the 80's and early 90's, at the height of X-Men and Spawn. I have not bought a comic in nearly ten years.I'd like to get something with awesome art (think Marc Silvestri and Todd McFarlane), and a good story if possible. Though a fan of Anime, I have little interest in Manga. Any suggestions?

you should have asked for a religious graphic novel then the replies would be in an overwealming supply

Batman: The Long Halloween, Batman: Dark Victory, Kingdom Come...sorry I only read DC, mainly Batman :P

If you are a star wars fan, there are plenty of good trades available at your local comic store or book seller. I was like you, I collected a long time ago and recently got back into it. I recomend the clone wars serries, empire, Knights of the old republic, Legacy.
