Well you could try to make the 3 less jagged, additionally you could make some makeshift "armor" to add and such to make it seem like you've been wandering around outside for awhile, kinda like the Armored Vault Dweller suit in Fallout 3. Dirt and grime wouldn't be too bad either.

Anyway, to the TC, the Vault costume is just a little plain. And really, if you're gonna dress up at all, you'd might as well do it in style. You'd be better off making an Enclave or Brotherhood of Steel powersuit. If you're less ambitious, you could dress up as a raider. And if you're a really big dude, maybe you could even pass yourself off as a Super Mutant.

But really...if the costume sucks, then you're better off not dressing up at all. And that Vault costume does sort of suck. Hell dude, the "13" is just yellow tape that the dude put on a blue shirt. If you're not gonna do better than that, don't bother.

I'd feel sad enough going to a Comic-Con in the first place, never mind actually dressing up for it.

But people like what they like, and I won't always judge them about that.

Why would you feel sad going to Comic-Con? It's not like just because one goes and enjoys their time makes them an automatic loser. There's quite a diverse crowd of people who go to these conventions. Of course you have the typical cosplayers who make up a common negative stereotype for those who've never actually been to one of these conventions, but in no way everyone is like those people. For me, I've been to Comic-Con perfectly casual like I am any other day, and don't even bother with half the stuff Comic-Con has to offer -- I mostly went to attend movie panels and meet filmmakers and actors. Everyone goes for a different cause, and it shouldn't make one feel shameful to go to one... Unless you really can't stand comics, books, video games, movies, music, television, or any other form of entertainment that is housed at Comic-Con.

Well my oh my, somebody's trolling. First, friend invited me to comic-con. I accepted, i've never been. Second, he dared me to wear a costume, I said I was going to half a$$ a fallout one, he said awesome. Third, I am not the biggest nerd in the world, I'm not gonna spend 1 grand on some bos costume. Or make one, I'm not that skilled and don't have time.

So I think you should measure the stick up your ass and then go back to whatever bridge you came from, troll.

How about this, pal? Next time you ask for advice, tell us that you don't care about our advice and save us the effort of trying to help you out.

If I was trolling, I wouldn't have bothered giving you some alternative suggestions. I don't care if you have the time or money to make a better costume. YOU are the one who asked for suggestions, I gave you suggestions, so there you go.

Yes, the costume that you showed us is just sort of sad. If you're going to half-ass it that much, then don't bother. And yes, that's my advice. And I've also offered better suggestions, which I didn't have to do. If you have a problem with me giving out some ideas, then why are you even asking us about this?

You want to talk about "trolls", then how about talking to the dude who flat-out laughed at you without providing a single useful comment.

*shrugs*

Whatever, pal. If you're just expecting me to tell you what you want to hear, then don't bother asking in the first place.

I thought it was pretty clear that that was a "joke comment".

And regardless, it pretty much makes up the very minority of the whole post, with the rest of the post consisting of me giving the guy advice on a costume.

Jeeze, comic book and videogame fans honestly need to lighten up. Did you not happen to notice that I also have nearly 50,000 posts on a videogame website? You'd think that we could joke amongst ourselves ewvery now and again, but I guess not. Sheesh.

I'm sorry. Some people on this site have acted like they were too good for Comic-Con with close-minded reasons in the past and were quite serious. I couldn't tell if you were being serious or not.

In any case, that's two times in a row that someone took offense to that, so I guess I'd might as well just edit my post and delete that part.
