What's the point of these? We can tell for ourselves which comments are worth paying attention to, can't we? And in the end, it all boils down to fanboyism more than anything, because how else can youexplain pointless one-liners often getting a higher rating than elaborate, well-explained comments?

I don't pay attention to them.

They're pretty pointless, I agree - especially on Youtube, where if you say something that sounds remotely negative, fanboys will instantly thumb-down your comment. I think you're unable to view the comment after 6 of those.
