Compare and contrast:

Joe Biden and Sarah Palin answer questions about Supreme Court decisions

Republicans: PRAY this is not an indication of how tomorrow will go.

Get on your knees tonight. Because this is just...wow.

The contrast is so stark and clear, I don't think her sizable charm will save her. Not when Gwen asks her real questions and demands real answers.

lol, wut.

"I feel bad for her because she did not sign up for this. She wasn't ready at all.

But what I can't stand, despite feeling bad for her, is the cheesy and just plain pathetic way she redirects questions and starts throwing out meaningless buzz words strung together with poor syntax...it is the epitome of a person who has absolutely no clue what they're talking about.

If any educated, self respecting person here isn't insulted by what McCain did picking her, while telling us that he genuinely chose someone who he can count on and turn to for advice to do the MOST IMPORTANT job in this country...if you aren't insulted by that, then you're either as dumb as Sarah Palin, or just in denial."

^ that is the correct answer.

She didn't know what court issue she disagreed with so what, she did a good job rebounding, and her answer to abortion was much better than Bidens.

lol. she completely side-stepped the question.

She doesn't have enough knowledge of Supreme Court issues to have been able to name a single issue that was problematic.

You Palinites really can't see what she is.

This was a simple question. Not only did she fumble through the answer about Roe v. Wade, but what she offered was sophomoric at best. No grip on the scope of the issue of any kind. Then she failed to come up with any more Supreme Court matters at all.

How you all can continue to sit there and deny that this woman is woefully unpreparired for any office beyond Alaska is beyond me.

I'm not holding my breath for this debate. I've already seen the McCain-Obama debate, so how's this going to trump that? Both Vice Presidential candidates are probably going to avoid directly answering the question and try to lay out their entire agenda whether it's asked of them or not. The difference is that Palin will probably be ditzy and Biden will be as big an as***** as he always is.

Do you honestly believe she answered it better or do just agree with her stance on the issue, because those are two completely different things.

Here's how it is, Palin, doesn't understand some of the stuff, and instead will make herself look above Biden by Giving an Answer and Saying Something the people want to hear.

Biden is known for saying stupid stuff that will get him or obama in trouble, and he will stay away from answering to many questions to look good, and will say what the people want to hear.

So this will be a very worthless debate.

No, Abortion is definitely not a federal Issue, it's not the federal Gov'ts job and should indeed be left up to the state.

Palin wasn't as smooth and definitely isn't as knowledgeable. But Biden just comes across to me as a deceptive, evil snake of a bastard who can talk a smooth talk and make himself seem reliable through his credentials. They're both bad, but between a stupid, clumsy candidate and a candidate I know has absolutely no interest in the well-being of the nation and only has ulterior motives, I'd pick the former if I had to. Then again, I won't be voting for either candidate so it doesn't really matter to me.

I thought she explained her position on abortion well enough, but watching her dodge the question about other supreme court rulings was a little painful. A woman as bad at giving b.s. answers as her should just admit that she can't think of one. Anyway, this debate could be painful to watch.

it's hard to stomach people being so dishonest. they know she didn't answer the question, but they'll pretend she did. it's one thing to be a conservative or a supporter. it's another to be a fanboy. all the supporters I know recognized she's been a mess.

these kinds of people are the ones that don't really want what's in the best interest of the country. at least, not in public.

Whatever happened to great Republicans like Reagan and great Democrats like JFK (figuratively speaking, of course)? Both of them kicked ass, and it sucks that the Democrats in power tend to be raging socialists and the major Republicans tend to be damned neocons. Both JFK and Reagan had their flaws, but both were great Presidents, far beyond what Obama or McCain could ever be.

But it does show that she can't apply that knowledge in any meaningful way. So basically she agrees with you on the abortion issue; a quality that could've been found with much more intelligent people.

wow, she completely side stepped the question while Biden went into detail to show why it works.

This video proves what everyone has known for weeks now, that McCain choose her to get the hardcore Clinton supportors

More like the superficial Clinton supporters. A large majority of Hillary supporters polled said they would be supporting Obama, only a small percentage said they would vote for Palin. This small percentage are likely the same that voted for Hillary not because of what policies she represents but rather who she is. (Poll numbers come from Newsweek btw)

To momentarily sidestep, what were JFK's policies?

This reminds me of that beauty pageant contestant that went off on a tangent about South Africa, revealing her idiocy to the globe. Biden is so much more intelligent, as is Obama.

Pretty is boring. In a debate, a slaughter is much more fun! (Notice I said "in a debate . . .")
