Conclusion: Oasis are not even that good!

So I was listening to about 5 of their albums in the past week and I could only get into a few songs. Gallaghers voice gets on my nerve after a while. I live in Manchester - England and that's where Oasis are from so pretty much everyone loves Oasis, but now I don't even like them.

Anyone else had the same thing towards a different band?

Oasis are great, i love Noel's voice, makes a real change

Rihanna is pretty bad IMO

This is well known fact all around the world. Even tribal colonies in south america that have never had any contact with any westernized civilization know this....

Although they do listen to Radiohead.

Thank you! This thread reminded me of that old cartoon, I Are Baboon! Really, Oasis IS not really all that great. I can only think of a few songs of theirs off the top of my head, none of which are that stellar.

Oasis is great. What the Story Morning Glory is what one of my favorite albums ever. Every song on that was good.

Noel Gallagher is one of my favorite players.

Its taste in music, there are only opinions (well there are some exceptions, but only a few)

True. But with other bands like Zero 7 and A Perfect Circle, they exist because they are awesome on their own without other bands relating to them.

Its almost impossible to find anything that doesn't borrow from somewhere else, especially anything modern.

I'd say oasis are fine, but they need to have more variety, if you just went through 5 albums your bound to hate them :lol:

I don't like the extreme metal stuff, but I wouldn't say they were freaks. I just see more talent in other bands that's all.

I would say The Cure have more talent even though I can't get into them either.

That is the problem... I hate everything about Liam and he sings most of the songs...

On the whole, I like their first two albums, but after that no so much.

They're alright, nothing special. A couple songs are good, the rest are pretty average.

:lol: Another band has to be the Arctic Monkeys, I liked them for a bit, now I can't stand them. They got talent, but not enough to impress me.

Hey, I live in Manchester too!

And to be honest I don't think Oasis are that good, either. My mate is pretty much obsessed with them, thinks every song is awesome, but I think they're all the same, one or two good ones though.
