If you got mad cash, PC

Thats the problem with PC games, but as long as it's free to play there will be no problem!!!
I'd have to say PC.
I prefer consoles only because it's truly "plug and play". That's the thing I hate about PC gaming....all the configuration hassle required. Whenever I buy a PC game, I'm always confronted by the fear that it won't work or that my system is not up to snuff, etc etc. With consoles, I don't have to worry about that at all. Plus the fact that a lot of PC games are released before they are truly finished(ahem.....Silent Hunter 4 *cough cough*)
With that said though, I think the PC brings a better experience overall for me once I'm up and running. Show me a game on a console that beats Company of Heroes fully maxed out on a good rig. Crysis also is looking to be incredible, and I can't get that on a console yet.
I just find the PC to have that extra layer of depth that you can't get with the consoles.
So yea, PC gaming.
PC is by far more powerful so i have to go for pc even though i tend to play console games once in a whilejakeboudville
I doubt most PC's that people have right now are as powerful as the Xbox 360, unless you have a 8800 or something, but even then most people dont have a triple core CPU as powerful as a 360.

you'd be suprised. I bet you 75% of the PCs GAMERS have are more powerful than 360s. But im talking about pc gamers who actually buy games ect. not people who play runescape... :/[QUOTE="V4LENT1NE"][QUOTE="jakeboudville"]PC is by far more powerful so i have to go for pc even though i tend to play console games once in a whilezero9167

That is basically the problem, everybody does not have a PC like yours...

Thats why I like 360, cheap and has excellent hardware, thats why I play both.

Wait for lost planet and Gears to come to pc. but i wouldn't doubt its more powerful when looking at the games, because PC games are less optimized for select hardware. Now say if someone made a PC game for your exact hardware it would be a amazing. Though do you think oblivion runs better on your PC or 360? I bet you'd say your pc.It depends on the genre for me
Sports, turn based RPG, platformer, racing, fighting-Console
MMO, strategy(RT or TB), PC
if the limited amount of buttons can play the game the way it's supposed to be played, i'll go with console. If not (LOTRBFME2) i'll go with PC
it just all boils down to what game you will play....but people have different preferences and tastes....
right?????

I bet you'd say your pc.Oblivion for the 360 was poorly optimzed, and it only used a small percentage on one of the CPU's what do you expect, when consoles are new the games tend to work not that great because the devs are not used to the hardware e.g. Quake 4 for 360, Gears for example would run better on 360 then some one with my specs, far better.

thats all bull honkey, and pretty much exactly what 360 fan boys say to defend their 360 :P but lets try not to turn this into SW... even though the thread is console or PC :|
