I was considering getting contacts, but with all the stories I've heard, such as them rolling back into your eye socket, Idk if I should. Could somone just tell me the benefits/non-benefits to having contacts?

Well, they shouldn't roll back into your eye socket unless you sleep with them still in...

I love them. I get so tired of wearing glasses. You have to get used to putting your finger to your eye and take care of them.

Get them. Especially if you play any kind of sports or outdoor activities. I have them and love them and i would never go back to glasses. A drawback though is that some brands are dry up to easily and that can be bothersome. Kinda feels like you have an eyelash in your eye. I have Acuvue's and thats basically the only brand i trust because well they are the only ones ive tried lol.

I used to always sleep with mine and it never happened to me. I slept with mine in so much I got a sore on my eye. I'd highly recommend them if you're glasses really make certain things tough for you. My job is very difficult with glasses so I prefer contacts for it, but when I'm home I almost always have my glasses on.

Thats happened to me before, getting stuck behind your eyelid, or in the side of your eye (Basically what they mean by rolling back in your eye). It hurts. Seriously, very very painful, and you cant even see anything cause it hurts to open your eye. I had to drive like that before, only seeing out of 1 eye. But that doesn't happen very often, only if your contact was too old and dry. As long as they are fresh and in fresh liquid overnight, they're fine. I haven't has a problem in the past couple years (Been with contacts for 3 years not. Benefits outweigh the cons....

They've never rolled back in my eye even when I sleep in them. The only con I can think of is if you lose one, you're one eye short all day and it's annoying as hell.

I never had the roll back problem, my eyes just got so dry. Even with drops, my goal in life with contacts was getting home and taking the damn things out.

I don't know why but I prefer glasses. It is probably because I can see just fine without them if I don't have to focus on anything close so I can basically have them off when I want but I always have them on for some reason.

I love having contacts over my glasses Pros: You have better vision all around, since glasses cover the majority eye sight, but not all of it, you don't have to worry about pushing up glasses all the time, more or less like 20/20 vision Cons: They are not always the easiest to get in, especially on tired mornings, the first couple of weeks you'll have troubles getting them in, but after you learn various techniques that work for you, they are easy, sometimes they irritate the eyes, which is why you should get some eye drops. Overall, 100 percent recommended, this coming from a person that has given up on them a few times, after a couple of weeks when you get your routine down, you don't even think about them. I would recommend getting a pair of glasses for those days where you just don't feel like putting them in.

I've fallen asleep with my contacts in a few times and they've never fallen to the back of my eye.... they do get really dry and kind of stick to your eye when that happens but it isn't that bad. I've had contacts for about 9 years now by the way.
