this happened this year:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2ex6dHzcgOE

(if you dont have a youtube acccount: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HtKUZ_SNK60 NOT FULL VIDEO)

Some dumb lady is driving wrecklessly because she is late for work and this guy records her doing a hit and run. He drops his friend off to help the guy hit and hunts her down. She acts dumb and says she doesnt know what hes talking about.

what do you think of hit and run drivers? do you think they make that mistake of leaving for 1 second and then its too late to turn back?

Even though its good to see some people seeking justice and good when anyone else could just watch, its disheartening to see that people could be so terrible.

Hitting an old guy, taking off, then completely denying it? That is what makes you, a horrible, horrible sociopath.

One has to wonder if the guys recording didn't contribute to the problem, seeing as how it's obvious from the first few minutes of the video that they had been following her around for quite some time waiting for her to "do something". A lot of people would be trying to get away if they realized a non-police vehicle was tagging them and her reckless driving may have been her trying to ditch them. Not excusing what she did, but at the same time the guys who filmed this were hardly "cool". More like desperate wanna-be vigilantes who spend their days following random people hoping for their shot to be the white knight hero.

I hate when people play the ignorance card when others have obvious proof.

No, I think it was apparent from her driving that she was completely oblivious to her surroundings.

She was driving bad before they started really following her and they didn't do anything that would suggest they were "tagging" her, they just drove along normally while she drove like a maniac and nearly caused several accidents before mowing down an old man and speeding off.

I'd probably be creeped out if I was being followed by some dudes, but instead of speeding off like that I'd probably call the police or something, not run a man over (as well as the fact that they followed her due to her reckless driving).

If she's a mother, I can bet her kids will lose some respect. Damn, I lose respect for my mom every time she badmouths people behind her back or lies.

If someone hits my car and drives off, but my car is still running, I'll catch up to them and do the cop thing where they slow down and hit your rear fender causing you to wipe out.

Man, I honestly can't say the drivers behind her had anything to do with it. If they had been scaring her to go faster, wouldn't she at least admit to hitting someone? Or at least stop when she did? That lady is either mentally unstable or cold hearted.

Morphic

I'm betting it's the latter.

Agreed, they have to practice many many times to be able to do it perfectly.

Ok, jaywalking is bad, but I don't see how it doesn't suck if he was jaywalking.

There was a crosswalk, a car had stopped to let the man cross. This woman got impatient, and sped around the car, hitting the old man as he crossed onto that side of the road.

Well it's always nice to see a cold-hearted person nailed down for their crimes although since he had the whole thing down on film and clearly recorded her license plate and all that I don't think he needed to chase her down exciting and fun as it was to watch. But what's really bugging me is the music he had playing on his stereo as it's something Indian or Middle-Eastern and I know I know it but it's eluding me at the moment and man is it really bugging me!

That stupid ***** cut them off while they were turning. Then she nearly went head on with another car that's when they decided to follow, the video is 6 minutes and they started watching her intently about 2 minutes in. They weren't following her for quite some time so don't defend this stupid *****.
