She hit him, so he hit her back. Seem's like fairplay in my eyes. Your thoughts?

So to enforce laws you want to empower law enforcement to break laws?

We already do, it's called the death penalty.

Yeah it is. It's illegal to kill someone unless a jury says it's ok.

Never touch a police officer. Any physical contact is classified as resisting arrest, especially striking an officer.

Yeah, that's true, but smacking someone in the face isn't a recognized means of subduing someone for arrest. There are pain-complience techniques that should have been used first, and then resorting to taking her to the ground. At NO POINT is striking her in this fashion acceptable behaviour for a police officer. That the teacher was an abusive *censored* has no bearing on this.

Even though I think the cop acted unprofessionally, I can't help but get some catharsis out of watching this. I LOVE that woman's reaction when she gets slapped back. She was obviously one of those women who has the mindset that "men can't hit me because I'm a woman so I can do whatever I want to them without fear of recourse", and then when the guy just slaps her straight back she stands there stunned for a second before resorting to pity crying like a child. Also, she got off lightly really. If she had done that in America she probably would have been tazed, tackled by every cop in the vicinity, handcuffed, and imprisoned for assaulting a police officer.

Yeah... there's a reason that lex talionis appeals to so many, and has for thousands of years. There's also a reason why police officers are not permitted simply to strike people, but only to use force in the course of effecting an arrest, detainment, or self defense. Satisfaction or personal beliefs have no impact on the failure of training that this represents. If she had been tazed, and tackled... it would have been FAR more violent, BUT... according to accepted protocols. I don't like those protocols mind you, but that's what they are. There's a reson that the world is better off for The Code of Hammurabi being an artifact rather than the law.

I hate to say it, but I actually laughed a bit at that.

that being she shouldn't have hit him and he should have responded in kind. Cops should be better than that and so should people in general.

Agreed. It's not like the teacher could take down the cop, if physical harm is needed to subdue someone then it's okay. Otherwise, I say, just suck it up.

You see, I disagree. If a male teacher had slapped a female teacher, it would be perfectly fine if she retaliated. Hell, it would probably be encouraged. I agree that all humans are created equal, but, unfortunatley, not everyone sees it that way.

Haha. No one is created equal. Show me two people that are exactly the same.

You know what we mean... same rights, treatment, etc...

It's my personal code. however, not society's as a whole. I try to treat everyone equally (I'm a cashier, being friendly is a major part of it) but, unforutnatley, not everyone sees it that way.
