if we supposedly have free will, but god knows everything that will happen in the future, including our actions, then do we really have free will? or does it just seem like we do?

[QUOTE="LJS9502_basic"][QUOTE="druglord6"]Enjoy.... This has been done to death.... My bad i was genuinely interested in this question thanks.Yes but this has been a rather common thread. And I did give you the answers you sought did I not?Just wondering how people would answer this.

If he can see the future, then why did he bother creating us humans if he knew we were gonna end up killing the planet slowly? Why create hell for bad people if he knew before time that some humans were going to turn evil? Why did he bother putting forbidden fruit in the garden for adam and eve if he knew they were gonna be deceived by Satan? I honestly don't get why people talk as if he's extremely powerful when he could have well been an average guy that probably died of old age like everyone else...if we supposedly have free will, but god knows everything that will happen in the future, including our actions, then do we really have free will? or does it just seem like we do?

Your question is nonsense and frankly overused. Can a circle be a square? We already know that God is limited by his nature.. Titus 1:2: "n hope of eternal life which God, WHO CANNOT LIE, promised before time began." God cannot exist in a state of paradox, at least in interactions concerning us. Our silly little minds wouldn't be able to comprehend it and would probably explode.
If god is real, I think it could go either way.Just wondering how people would answer this.

Example:
I can build a house, but I can't pick it up.
We have no idea what kind of powers god actually has, but if he is real I would say yes, he can do anything.
[QUOTE="Stumpt25"]He'd have to make an infinitely large ball of rock matter, and since there cannot be an infinite amount of finite things, the question by its very definition is either very flawed, or beyond human comprehension.xscrapzxWhy not? Why not what? Let me answer what I THINK you meant: It'd would be like trying to tell a dog about the theory of gravity, you reach a point where its mind just cannot comprehend whatever you are trying to teach it. We're the same.

Could God create another version of himself exactly like himself, and if each had the power to destroy one another as God can do anything, does that mean that if God destroys God is God Omnipotent even though God could destroy God? Yeah solve that one 8)
Man created god, man is falible, therefore the concept of god is full of holes. My example was clearly hypothetical .
Another question. If a tree falls in the wood, and the only person to hear or see said tree is crushed and killed by the falling tree, is that tragic or just hilariously ironic?
I asked somebody this before actually.
"If God is supposed to be able to do anything, why can't he create a rock he can not lift?"
