I could but would never want to, to much paper work and way to many things that can go wrong. I would teach English.

No, I don't think I teach very well or like doing so very much.
If I had to though, I think I'd choose something along the lines of biology or anatomy/physiology.
Or I'd even go the English route, but with emphasis on composition rather than literature.
I WAS a HS math teacher and ****ing hated it.rawsavonSadly that is the one subject I thought i would enjoy teaching but i would never follow that path because i doubt my love for tutoring a person one on one in math translate well to being a teacher...

You can see how I am conflicted with your statement.
Yeah I did not mean I abosolutly couldn't, just its not that high up on my career chart. If I did I would like to teach English.

It does not translate...or it did not for me anyways (as someone who tutored quite a bit in school)

I was just playing with ya :P. I get what you mean. Personally, I'd choose US History.Oh I see take take your seat please Mr.watch.
Well, I'm studying to be psychology professor, so teaching university students kind of comes with the job. I'll be teaching psychology of course. Social psychology will be my specialty.
I wouldn't teach, but being either a highschool technology teacher, because they don't do too much and I'm good with technology, or a highschool art teacher, because they don't do much either, and I enjoy art.
The slightly insane physics teacher who blows **** up in the name of science.

I'm sure I could teach high school Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics. At the college level, just Chemistry.
Least like to teach: Calculus or Wellness.

Now that I think about it more, I would love to be the morbidly obese gym teacher with an attitude.
Teaching how to beat Halo Reach on LegendaryLiftedHeadshotThat would be a fun class. I would probably want to teach art.
[QUOTE="Elraptor"]I don't know, but maybe I could handle high school Literature or English Comp.rawsavonI think that would be the worst class to grade assignments.
I have a friend who has spent the last year teaching English. It was all she wanted to do for a long time, but after her first year she hated it. 90% of her time was spent reading and grading massive essays and doing paperwork. Only about 10% of her time was spent actually teaching. She has now quit and is doing a master's degree.

When you teach you realize just how little time is spent on education...it is all about survival. That is the same reason I quit...along with a few other philosophical differences of opinionYeah I could teach math, anything up to and including Calculus. Might be able to teach an intermediate microecon course (i.e. one that focused largely on utility theory).
History, world culture, social studies somewhere along those lines. I've considered it, but don't like the public school system.
