Today, I read an article saying that there is a room that can make you go crazy or even hallucinate. The room is -9 decibels making it the quietest room of all time and it actually won a Guinness World Record. The longest time ever spent alone in that chamber was forty five minutes.

Definitely I feel like it would be pretty crazy to be able to hear all my organs and such. I wonder if your voice sounds extra weird in it or not.

Might be hard to read when you can hear your blood flow through your body.

It must be an interesting experience. I want to believe that I could "survive" it but I guess there' s a reason why it becomes unbearable after a while.

Your sanity. An your quite lucky to. From what I've read it's considered quite the commodity in these times.

Depends how long it is for. Whatever the longest time is I think I would beat it.

45 minutes or more? Absolutely.

i've been in an anechoic chamber at work. we had to walk on a mesh and everything.. it's really strange. don't recall hearing my blood flowing but talking to people was weird and very muffled unless you were looking right at them. it also felt like the air pressure in the room was different.

Now if you mention reading in a soundless room...I doubt you won't be able to finish one chapter of a common novel, hear your blood's traffic jam, that's the only thing that prevents quality reading. In my case.i would have just slept in there

the walls, floor, doors and ceiling are covered with sound baffling cone or pyramid shaped foam that prevent echos. so there's basically no ambient sounds floating around because it's all absorbed.

To be honest, I find complete silence to be slightly unnerving (a running PC fan is as quiet as I'll allow it to get).

I'd still do it though. If anything, it would be interesting to see what sitting through -9 decibels would feel like.

I would probably start getting dizzy and vomit not even 2 minutes in. I'm claustrophobic as hell and freaking threw a panic attack when I had an MRI one time.
